The Excelsior! Homeschool Co-op meets on Mondays at Bethel Church of the Nazarene in Nampa, Idaho. We are a group of homeschool families in the Treasure Valley who love the Lord and love learning. We offer classes for all grade levels, in subjects unrestricted by what a typical school might offer. Click the links on the left to learn more about our Co-op.

Crazy Hat Day is here!  This Monday, April 14 is the day to wear your craziest hat to Co-op!
Laura has added some new words of encouragement on the "From the Director" page. Check it out!

How can I help support the Co-op?

First, prayer is the most precious and useful support mechanism in all of creation!  Pray for our students, our teachers, our families.  Pray that our attitudes and minds are ready each Monday for what the Lord would have us learn/teach.  Pray for our physical needs. Individual families - as well as the Co-op - have financial obligations that are harder to meet in the current economy.  Pray that the students, teachers, parents, grandparents, janitors, and all who come in contact with the Co-op, will meet God, or come to know Him better.

Second, come to our Presentation and Art Nights.  Come to encourage, and to be encouraged by the kids that recite, sing, dance, tell and perform.

Third, sign up for volunteer positions and be diligent in your endeavors.

Fourth, support our fundraisers.

Finally, again, will you consider praying for our group?  Pray for the leaders who year-round pray, plan, organize, sweat, cry, and laugh for each other and for the Co-op.  Some have other jobs in addition to their efforts at the Co-op.  Some also volunteer for other organizations.  All administer the work of the Co-op while caring for their own families.  None receive income from the Co-op.

Welcome to Excelsior!

6 These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. 7 Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. 8 Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. 9 Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.
